Elysium’s embodies Pure Class A DHT single ended utmost refined circuits via Eimac 250TL output tube resolving with 60 Watts of Class A unrestrained power output per channel, implements EML 20b-V4 as most linear DHT and EML 5Z3 rectifier as well. 250TL is directly coupled by the unconventional interstage transformer to EML 20B-V4. This is a unique and so far unseen approach deriving any last bits of sonic information from the the most refined audio sources.

The Pandora monoblocks run two drivers tubes 6N30P called also “super tube” and two direct heated triode made by Svetlana 811-10. Each amp houses an epoxy resin-potted 6kg double C-core output transformer, 10Kg main power double C- core transformer , one high inductivity filter choke and an interstage transformer for driving SV811-10 tubes all made by Trafomatic Audio

The EOS+ power amplifier is the most powerful dual mono amplifier in the Trafomatic Audio productions. It is constructed as push-pull using well known KT150 output tubes.
Output power is 150W per channel, which is sufficient for most speakers, even those with lower than average sensitivity. This is a power amplifier, requiring preamplifier and opening endless possibilities for system configuration.
Based on previous work on negative feedback, -6dB reaction has been tuned to provide sound equivalent to a good Single Ended application. Cathode feedback was used as the most musical one. Bass is well controlled, dynamic response is excellent and this amplifier belongs to the very top of its class.
Well designed power supply made as separate unit utilizes 800VA toroidal transformer and C-L-C filter separated for each channel. Output transformers are based on a Double-C core configuration and Solen fast capacitors are used throughout. Adding well thought-out concept to the mix results in a recognizable high quality sound of our amplifiers.

Redefining the concept of the pre-amplifier, that was the goal set for Trafomatic Audio.
Since the Elysium State of the Art tube power-amplifiers were launched in 2016 the search started for a matching quality tube pre-amplifier with some additional features. For instance, an extreme low output impedance. Not only for matching with different power amps, but as well for the use of long, high quality interconnects. Extremely hard to find in pre-amp tube designs.
Also the need for a perfect balance between the channels was on the wish list. Not just a common balance, this is available on several pre-amps worldwide, unfortunately they are never as accurate as wished for. What was needed is a highly precise adjustment between both the channels measured in mV for the highest accuracy.
Since none of the available pre-amplifiers on the market were up to this task it was decided to develop this in house at Trafomatic.
It took more than 3 years to fine-tune ideas, but at the end it was there: Based upon spring suspended Emission Labs 30A tubes, Dynamic Balance Adjustment, extreme low output impedance, specially designed output transformers and chokes.
The final challenge was the visual design. This much amplifier fitting a moderate housing was impossible, but at the end a 2-chassis, organic design in the Trafomatic house style was created.

Evolution Line One
Stereo line preamplifier
The Evolution Line One is full tube stereo line preamplifier in the Evolution series. It came as a logical extension of the Elegance Evolution power amplifier. Consequently, we were challenged with a difficult task of meeting high quality of the existing Evolution products. This product, as well as all the previous ones, is built following the principle of using minimum of active parts with the top quality passives. After the long development and multitude of circuit variations The Evolution Line One was born. Previous experience has shown that only a no-compromise design is worth the effort and we followed that philosophy throughout this work.
Final selection called for a well known double triodeECC88 which has its place among the very best. The Evolution Line One has twoECC88 tubes, one per channel. In order to achieve minimum output impedance the second triode within a single glass envelope is connected as cathode follower. Special care was taken to design a high performance power supply, a common trait of all products from The Evolutione series. Diode rectification followed by C-L-C filter and high quality electrolytic capacitors ensure extremely low output ripple on the anode supply. Stabilization tube for anode voltage for ECC88 is a well known ECL82 , indirectly heated tube. Toroidal transformer improves this section even further, considering its very low fringe magnetic field.
The Evolution Line One has 5 line inputs, one stereo output ,fixed TAPE out and Subwoofer out . Elegant design to match The Evolutione series, this preamplifier calls for attention with his modern styling and sound quality and deservedly strives to occupy a leading spot on the audiophile scene.

Trafomatic Audio Evolution Line One - preamplificatore stereo interamente valvolare della serie Evolution. Il preamplificatore Line One e' l'estensione logica dell'amplificatore di potenza Elegance Evolution e di conseguenza e' stato un'ulteriore sfida per i progettisti della Trafomatic nel impegnativo compito di mantenere e migliorare ulteriormente l'alta qualità dei prodotti Evolution esistenti. L'Evolution One, in piena tradizione Trafomatic, è costruito seguendo il principio di un minimo utilizzo di parti attive, mentre quelle passive sono di altissima qualita'. Le esperienze precedenti hanno infatti dimostrato che solamente un design senza compromessi merita lo sforzo, filosofia progettuale che trova pieno riscontro nella linea Evolution.
La sezione finale utilizza il noto duplice triodo 6N6P, soluzione annoverata tra le migliori esistenti.
Onde ottenere valori minimi d'impedenza all'uscita , il secondo triodo, allogiato all'interno di una singola valvola, adotta la tipologia a catodo inseguitore. Particolare cura è stata dedicata nella progettazione dello stadio di alimentazione ad alte prestazioni, un tratto comune a tutti i prodotti della serie Evolution. La rettificazione del diodo, seguita dal filtro C-L-C e dai condensatori elettrolitici di alta qualità, garantisce un ondulazione d'uscita estremamente bassa del alimentazione dell'anodo. La valvola stabilizzatrice della tensione anodica delle 6N6P è la nota ECL82 riscaldata indirettamente. Il trasformatore toroidale migliora ulteriormente questa sezione, considerando la minima dissipazione del suo campo magnetico.

Integrated Amplifier
The EOS integrated amplifier is the most powerful integrated amplifer in the Trafomatic Audio productions. It is constructed as push-pull using well known KT120 output tubes.
Output power is 100W per channel, which is sufficient for most speakers, even those with lower than average sensitivity.
This is a integrated amplifer and doesn’t requiring preamplifer. Based on previous work on negative feedback, -6dB reaction has been tuned to provide sound equivalent to a good Single Ended application. Cathode feedback was used as the most musical one. Bass is well controlled, dynamic response is excellent and this amplifer belongs to the very top of its class.
Well designed power supply made as separate unit utilizes 800VA toroidal transformer and C-L-C filter separated for each channel. Output transformers are based on a Double-C core configuration and Solen fast capacitors are used throughout. Adding well thought-out concept to the mix results in a recognizable high quality sound of our amplifiers.

High quality output transformers built around Double-C geometry and 220VA EI M6 power transformer dominate the top plate of the amplifier. Oversized filter chokes inside underline quality construction throughout the unit. Vacuum tube rectifiers go without mentioning: direct heated rectifier 5U4G occupies central position in the tube lineup. Driver tubes are ECC81 coupled to the output stage via Solen fast capacitors. Power stage consists of two 2A3 EH gold grid tubes (one per channel). This specific variety has been chosen for increased dissipation capability and better musicality due to reduced third harmonic distortion.

About 300B tubes: Trafomatic Audio is one of the very few manufacturers who does understand the 300B story. As we probably all know, it once started with the Western Electric 300B, a true mesh grid 300B tube: copied by many, succeeded only by a few. The reason it is so hard to make these tubes nowadays is the Mesh Grid Anode, woven wires which gives the true 300B sound: open, detailed and rich, very rich. Several manufacturers claim to deliver 300B’s with a mesh grid, but at the end these are nothing more than plates with some wholes punched in. Not even close to a real Mesh Grid:

One of the very few manufacturers of true Mesh Grid 300B tubes is Emission Labs. With these tubes you get the true 300B sound. Amazingly sounding, and when used correctly build to last like forever. Any downsides? Yes, there is one (or maybe 2 if you consider the price…)!
To replace a 300B by the Emission Labs 300B-Mesh, be sure the mesh tube is run at following conditions:
Recommended: 22 Watt Plate dissipation.
Absolute maximum: 28 Watt Plate dissipation.
This is 70% of what is done with standard 300B in most of the cases.
