WE THINK A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY
We don’t make ordinary speakers. You won’t find any conventional boxy designs in our line-up, not for any stylistic or superficial aesthetic reasons, but purely and simply because we believe there’s a better way.
For over 20 years the Gallo name has been synonymous with spherical loudspeaker design. Our acclaimed products are designed around spheres, thus eliminating resonance and internal diffraction, the two main causes of loudspeaker distortion.
Quite simply, we produce the world’s finest compact speaker systems, blending real hi-fi performance with contemporary industrial design, wrapped up in an installation and decor-friendly package – guaranteed to deliver exceptional, expansive sound to spaces large and small.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Anthony Gallo designed his first loudspeaker at the tender age of fourteen. His first commercially available product – the Nucleus reference speaker, went on sale in 1994. Today, Gallo Acoustics loudspeakers are sold in over 30 countries worldwide.
Anthony Gallo was born in 1963 and from an early age he had an interest in the sciences and would take apart just about anything he could lay his hands on. At age 13 he began to become hooked on loudspeaker design. His first audio experiments were with electrostatics. “I got shocked a zillion times,” Anthony recalls. “I was always awed by electrostatics’ transparency and purity. The dynamics, however, were always short of my expectations.”
Subsequent experiments with ribbon drivers proved difficult to drive and limited in dynamic range. However, Anthony’s search for the “Holy Grail of tweeters” took a dramatic turn when he discovered a magazine article about Piezo film in the early 1980s. “I threw the magazine aside for a few years,” he says, “but in the back of my mind I knew that I would work with this material some day.” After a few years of experimentation, the first version of Anthony’s CDT (cylindrical diaphragm transducer) was born in 1987. Further refining the CDT design over the better part of the next decade, Anthony came to the realisation that he was onto something special, and decided to pursue his dream of designing and manufacturing loudspeakers full-time. Anthony Gallo Acoustics was born.
MICRO
THE ORIGINAL HIGH-END SMALL SPEAKER
The Gallo Acoustics Micro loudspeaker has long been the audiophile’s choice in the ‘compact’ speaker category, whether for two-channel music, home cinema or multi-room audio. A 4” all-metal sphere capable of producing a large sound stage and pinpoint imaging, delivered in a beautifully-compact, timeless form factor.
INTRODUCING ROUND SOUND
There are numerous loudspeakers capable of producing fine sound, unfortunately most are too large, unattractive or power hungry to operate in many modern living spaces. That’s what makes the Gallo Acoustics Micro different: a 4″ diameter all-metal sphere, available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
The Micro produces an impressively large sound stage and pinpoint imaging, in a beautifully small, visually attractive package. Two channel stereo, home cinema or multi-room audio; with the Micro the choice is yours. Add our powerful TR-3D subwoofer and an array of mounting options and it’s easy to configure a Micro system to fit your home and audio aspirations.
Imagine a truly high-end loudspeaker that fits in the palm of your hand. A speaker that comes in a palette of 11 standard colours to complement any room, from subtle Urban Grey and vibrant Race Red, to the luxurious tones of our Gold and Bronze finishes. Alternatively our SPECTRUM bespoke colour service opens up a world of possibilities from the Pantone and RAL colour systems.

MICRO SE
A CLASSIC EVOLVED
The Micro SE takes our original Micro design and pairs it with proprietary flat panel driver technology to create what is effectively a ‘Super-Micro’, a high performance variant with an extended frequency range and ultra-wide sweet spot.
ENGINEERED FOR PERFORMANCE
The Micro SE takes the classic looks and flexibility of our original Micro design, and blends it with the very latest driver technology to create a loudspeaker that is perfect for applications where performance really matters.
The Micro SE utilises a specially developed ultra-wide dispersion flat-diaphragm transducer that covers a frequency range from 100Hz to 22Khz, all powered by a single driver. This technology enables the Micro SE to perform as a true audiophile loudspeaker, without large enclosures or a hefty price tag. And because we use a single driver, the Micro SE has no need for a crossover (which always hurts the sound). Our Optimised Pulse Technology (OPT) and patented S2 damping control pods eliminate all ear-fatiguing colourations, enclosure resonances and distortions.
Enclosed in our world renowned spherical enclosure, the result is a compact satellite speaker that sounds incredible, with a vivid, crystal-clear 3D sound stage that remains stable regardless of your listening position.
Add our powerful TR-3D subwoofer and an array of mounting options including wall, in-ceiling, tabletop and floor standing and it’s easy to configure a system to fit your home and audio aspirations.
The Micro SE is available in a choice of 11 standard stock colours, or for special projects our SPECTRUM bespoke colour matching service opens up a world of colour choices from the Pantone and RAL colour systems.
Each Micro SE is supplied with our new Isolation2 surface mount – a minimalist aluminium and silicon rubber ring engineered to allow easy placement on a table or shelf while maintaining acoustic integrity.
The Micro SE’s redesigned all-metal terminal area now includes nickel heads and gold plated posts, allowing connection via standard-sized banana plugs as well as the option to use a heavier gauge of speaker cable up to 4mm in diameter.

A'DIVA
BASS BALL
A’Diva is everything that made our Micro loudspeaker great, but with a little added oomph. Created by taking the key ingredients of our classic Micro speaker design and marrying them to a larger enclosure, creating a little loudspeaker with a surprisingly big sound.
BIGGER BROTHER
While maintaining the famous clean and neutral sound that is our trademark, the A’Diva develops a bigger, fuller sound than its smaller sibling – the Micro.
The 5″ diameter A’Diva frees up an extra half octave of bass, and the improved low frequency response (76Hz to 20kHz) makes it a very compelling option for the audiophile who wants a compact speaker with a ‘big’ sound, and clear, precise dispersion. It also means that A’Diva can be used without the addition of a subwoofer in many applications.
A’Diva can be mounted practically anywhere, in cabinets or on book shelves for example, without exciting bass resonance problems. Thanks to its low distortion and incredibly coherent sound, the highly adaptable A’Diva can be used just about anywhere, including two channel stereo, home cinema, multimedia, multi-room and custom installations.
A’Diva shares a version of Anthony Gallo’s acclaimed 3″ drive unit and can be mixed and matched with other Gallo speakers in a home cinema set-up. The A’Diva for example, makes a perfect centre channel speaker in a Micro 5.1 system.
We have a wide range of accessories that enable A’Diva to be wall-mounted, installed in-ceiling, positioned on a table or desktop, or on floor stands.
A’Diva benefits from the same patented technologies and physical advantages as our award winning Micro. By using a spherical enclosure we have eliminated internal resonance and external diffraction, the two main causes of loudspeaker distortion. In addition, by having no crossover A’Diva is endowed with unparalleled spatial characteristics.
A’Diva is an easy-to-drive 8 Ohm design of moderately high efficiency, with power handling specified at 50 watts full range and 100 watts when used as a small speaker in home cinema applications.
Just like our Micro and Strada 2 loudspeakers, A’Diva is ideally paired with our acclaimed TR-3D subwoofer.
A’Diva is available in a range of 11 standard colours to complement any room, from neutral matt white to vivid blue and rich metallic bronze. For special projects, our SPECTRUM bespoke colour matching service opens up a world of colour choices from the Pantone and RAL colour systems.
A'DIVA SE

STRADA 2
AUDIOPHILE AUDIOVISUAL
Strada 2 is the latest incarnation of our acclaimed Strada reference loudspeaker. Strada 2 is a winning mix of impressive power handling, sensitivity, frequency response and textbook perfect dispersion. A true hi-fi quality loudspeaker that’s equally impressive on a wall or a floor stand, with music or a dynamic movie soundtrack.
SETTING THE REFERENCE STANDARD
Strada 2 is our most ambitious project to date – the original Strada design redefined the term “price to performance ratio”, performing at a level which for their size category was simply unheard of. Strada 2 takes that standard and raises the bar yet again. Impressive power handling, 90dB sensitivity, 68Hz-20Khz frequency response and textbook perfect dispersion enable this speaker to shine in any room, and with any system.
After reviewing the latest data on psychoacoustics, we developed our Optimised Pulse Technology (OPT) System, which transcends the current boundaries of loudspeaker performance and invokes the same visceral impact we experience at live sound venues. The implementation of the OPT System also required us to re-engineer our critically acclaimed Cylindrical Diaphragm Transducer (CDTTM) and hence the CDT 3 tweeter was born.
Enhanced with the OPT System, Strada 2 blurs the line between recorded sound and live performance, whether resting on a shelf or fixed directly to a wall, they produce the most expansive and full bodied soundstage imaginable. For most applications we recommend that Strada 2 is paired with a subwoofer, with our own TR-3D model being an excellent candidate.
For home cinema applications we’ve developed a second version of Strada 2, known as Strada 2 Centre. This alternate version utilises a horizontal tweeter arrangement and ensures that Strada 2’s acoustic performance is not compromised when used as part of multi-channel system.
Strada 2 and Strada 2 Centre loudspeakers are supplied with your choice of either table stands or wall mounting brackets. Floor stands are available as an option.
Strada 2 is available in a choice of two colour finishes, black and stainless steel, or all black.
